JIMMY JIB AUSTRALIA provides remote camera crane services to the TV and Film markets Australia wide - with rigs currently based in Sydney, Perth, Northern NSW and the ACT.
Our aim is to provide our clients with new equipment, operated either by our experienced known crane operators or yours.
Our operators are extremely competent in shooting TVC's, Corporates, Short's, Drama, Music and Sport. We shoot just about anything! Every Jib rental is accompanied by an experienced Jib Assistant / Grip who is fluent in the safe setup and operation of the rig.
Our Jibs are currently set up to work in both film and broadcast video environments, for location and for studio. They can be accessorised to include Dutch roll kits, film style crank kits and wireless follow focus systems.
Through our sister business we can also offer a Techno Crane ST 30 and other support systems.

Established in 2000 as Pappas Media Group, JOHN PAPPAS PTY LTD provides production and training services to the Australian and International Television Industries.
Headed by John Pappas, our core business includes broadcast lighting design, direction, labour and rental, Steadicam®, Techno Crane ST30 and of course Jimmy Jib rental and operation.
John was first employed in the lighting industry in 1994 and the television industry in 1998, as a Lighting Assistant at the Nine Network in Sydney. He has since worked on over 180 shows and series, both in Australia and abroad, and has clients throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States.
John was a member of the NBC crew that was nominated for three, and awarded two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Technical Team (Studio) at the 22nd, 26th and 28th Sports Emmy Awards for the Sydney, Athens & Torino Winter Olympics Broadcasts.
